International Education Week

Join us for International Education Week, hosted by the Cal Poly International Center from Nov. 13-17! An initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education, International Education Week celebrates the benefits of international education and cultural exchange. This year’s events provide opportunities for the campus community to come together to learn, share, and experience global cultures and perspectives.

    Monday, Nov. 13

    Financial Aid & Scholarships Workshop

    Learn how to fund your study abroad experience and make this life-changing investment even more affordable! We will discuss utilizing financial aid while on study abroad, searching for scholarships, how to budget for your program, and the differences between program costs.

    ThankFul Event with Campus Dining

    11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Via Carta at Campus Market

    ThankFul is a Campus Dining event dedicated to giving back by saying “thanks” to the community through food, friends and fun activities. These include a cookie-decorating station, photo opportunities, “gratitude” pumpkins that offer thanks, free food samples, and delicious seasonal menus at the outdoor, banquet-style table on Via Carta at Campus Market. You will have the opportunity to donate non-perishable items for a chance to win prizes with Campus Dining. The International Center will have a resource table to showcase recipes provided by international students and scholars that Campus Dining has prepared for the campus community at Vista Grande.
