The Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship (FDGF) covers all program costs and airfare for 12 student leaders of color to participate in a three-continent global journey in Washington, D.C., Cape Town, Dublin, and Belfast for a comparative study of the social justice leaders instrumental in building historic bridges to peace. The program will run July 7 – August 4, 2023. Applications are due on February 14. Additionally, CIEE seeks to provide more students with the chance to study abroad and will provide all FDGF applicants a $1,500 Frederick Douglass Scholars Grant towards any CIEE study abroad program through Summer ‘24.
